Enriched air nitrox is a breathing gas which extends your bottom time while reducing nitrogen tissue loading. The PADI Enriched Air Diver course will teach you how to use nitrox enriched air up to 40% oxygen safely. With your PADI Enriched Air Diver certification you can to get enriched air nitrox fills anywhere in the world.

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course consist of three parts:

1. Knowledge development
2. Practical workshop
3. Two open water dives using Enriched Air Nitrox

1. Knowledge development

Using PADI’s state-of-the art elearning platform, you will gain all necessary knowledge about how to use enriched air. Online knowledge development for the PADI Enriched Air Diver can be completed in as little as half a day.

2. Practical workshop

After completing the elearning part you’ll apply your knowledge in a practical workshop by practicing procedures for obtaining and analysing Nitrox Enriched Air fills with our PADI Enriched Air instructors in Rarotonga. You will also practice planning enriched air dives using dive tables or computers.

3. Open water dives

To complete your Nitrox training in the Cook Islands, you will conduct two open water dives using Nitrox Enriched Air as breathing gas.

COURSE PRICE

Prerequisites to participate in the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Course are as follows:

• PADI Open Water Diver (or Junior Open Water Diver) or equivalent
• 12 years or older
• No medical condition
