PADI Scuba Diver Course

Get your basic dive certification on Rarotonga in just 1.5 days

Spotted eagle ray on dive course in Rarotonga

During this one and a half day entry-level certification course you will learn the basics of scuba diving. You will spend half a day in the classroom, half a day in confined water as well as half a day on the boat, conducting 2 open water dives on Rarotonga ’s outer reef. As the course does not contain any decompression theory, the certification restricts you to dive only under the supervision of a dive professional and to a maximum depth of 12 metres. This course is basically half the Open Water Diver course and is designed for people who only want to dive with dive professionals and not below 12 meters or who are restricted in time. You can upgrade from your PADI Scuba Diver certification to the PADI Open Water Diver certification with any PADI Resort/ Dive Center or PADI Instructor, anytime in the future, anywhere in the world.
