Your instructor will show you how to assemble your scuba unit and will go through the different parts of equipment and their uses. Next, he will review the basics of diving physics and physiology as well as the underwater realm. Furthermore, you will discuss communication and basic dive skills.
After this 40 to 50 minute review you will gear up and walk across the road into the lagoon. There, our instructor will take you on a shallow confined water refresher dive in the lagoon inside Rarotonga ’s Aroa Marine Reserve (rā‘ui). You will spend 45 minutes underwater.
